On Friday, January 19, 2024 we supported the Paralympic Foundation of Canada in collecting donations for our team’s jean day Friday. The foundation aims to ensure that all Canadians can participate in sports, irrespective of their particular challenges that they may experience. Their mission is to ensure that the people, programs, and equipment are in place so that Canadians with disabilities can be active in sports both amateur leagues and in professional sport.
Me Carla Gharzouzi chose this charity as it’s a cause that is close to her heart. “I’m someone who encourages others to participate in physical activity whenever and how ever they can. The Paralympic Foundation of Canada is a cause that strives to include everyone in sport and make it accessible to everyone.”
