On Friday, February 16, 2024, for our Spunt Carin Gives Back, Me Valentina Dandolini chose to spotlight the Dr. Julien Foundation who aims to support social pediatrics throughout Quebec in hopes to make a difference in the lives of thousands of children from vulnerable situations.
The Dr. Julien foundation looks to develop the tools required to support the many communities seeking its expertise, to support a growing number of community social pediatrics to benefit vulnerable children and looking to grow the best practices through clinical observation, social innovation and research. Me Dandolini has been familiar with this foundation since she was in high school. “Their mission is centered around the health and wellness of children, both medically and socially. They were even hosting game days during the teachers’ strike in late 2023 for children who were not able to be with their parent or guardian.”
