On Friday, September 22nd, 2023 the Spunt & Carin team fundraised in preparation for the upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As part of our “Spunt & Carin Gives Back” program our team wore jeans to the office as quid pro quo for their donation. The Canadian Cancer Society website states that “1 in 8 women in Canada are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.”[1] Donations for breast cancer awareness actively contribute to research and support services to help improve the lives of those affected by breast cancer. “Spunt & Carin gives back” allows us to educate our team on various causes and help us make a positive impact beyond the workplace.
On Sunday, September 24th, 2023 our very own Me Sheri Spunt will be running 42.2 kilometers in the Montreal Beneva Marathon to help raise funds for breast cancer! You can click the links below to donate to this cause. Below is link on how to do a self – test for breast cancer.
