Becky Etingin

Becky Etingin is a lawyer and accredited family mediator.

She is a member of the Quebec and New York bars, and has been practicing with Spunt & Carin since January 2018. Prior to beginning her studies in law at Université de Montréal, Becky graduated from McGill University with a bachelors in Psychology.

Becky has always had a passion for helping and understanding others. She chose a career in family law because of her desire to help guide individuals through difficult times and lead them to their next chapters. She is grateful to be able to have a practical, meaningful and positive impact on others in this way. In her work both as a lawyer, and a mediator, Becky uses her legal expertise and experience and background in psychology to help couples see the immense value in being able to reach compromises in their best interests and those of their children.

Becky has worked and trained in various legal settings and has volunteered for a number of years at Project Genesis, a non-profit organization which assists and informs vulnerable Montrealers on their legal rights. She has also been involved with the Friendship Circle since 2004, an organization that supports families and people with special needs.
