Amelia Modica

Amelia Modica joined Spunt & Carin in 2024. She obtained her Licentiate in Law (LL.L.) from the University of Ottawa in 2021 and completed her Juris Doctor (J.D.) at the University of Montreal in 2023. Amelia was called to the Quebec Bar in 2024.

During her time at the University of Ottawa, Amelia was an active member of the Canadian Student Association for Children’s Rights, where she developed a strong passion for advocating for children’s legal protections—a focus that continues to guide her practice today. As the eldest of four siblings, she has firsthand experience navigating complex family dynamics, which gives her a unique and empathetic understanding of the sensitive nature of family law.

At Spunt & Carin, Amelia is dedicated to offering compassionate, personalized legal solutions to clients facing family law challenges. She approaches each case with care and attention, ensuring that clients feel heard, supported, and respected throughout the process. Her passion for family law is driven by a genuine desire to support individuals and families through difficult times.

Amelia is fluent in both French and English.
