On Friday, August 9th, 2024, Spunt & Carin’s team donated to Lung Cancer Canada, which is a charity chosen by our Paralegal Student Liana Insogna.
Lung Cancer Canada is the most common diagnosed Cancer in Canada, and the most common cause of Cancer related deaths. 70% who are diagnosed with lung cancer, are still only detected at a very late stage, which means the disease has already spread through the patients’ entire body. In consideration of a five-year survival rate of just 22%, this needs to change, and for that we need your help!
This Charity is dear to Liana’s heart, as she lost her grandfather to Lung Cancer, when she was 7 years old. By donating, it will advance a lot of the research and help detect this type of Cancer earlier on.
