On Friday, December 8, 2023, the Spunt and Carin team hosted another Spunt and Carin: Gives Back jean Friday in support of the charity Sarah’s Fund for Cedars.
Spunt Carin Gives Back: Mada
On Friday, February 2, 2024, our team sported denim for the Mada Community Center. Mada is a Montreal-based center who’s objective is to support the local community through the provision of free kosher, nutritious food and other areas of support.

On Friday, January 19, 2024 we supported the Paralympic Foundation of Canada in collecting donations for our team’s jean day Friday.

On Friday, January 5, 2024, the Spunt and Carin team kicked off the 2024 year with a Spunt & Carin Gives Back jean day to raise money and raise awareness for the Montreal SPCA. Me Mignacca chose this organization.
Spunt & Carin Attends JEM Atelier!
On Friday, October 6th the Spunt & Carin team attended JEM Atelier for a tour and volunteer experience. JEM is a packaging factory which is an adapted workplace that provides employment to adults with different abilities.

Truth & Reconciliation Day
On Friday, September 29, 2023 Spunt & Carin, along with Pinto and Judicia hosted Tom Dearhouse for Truth and Reconciliation Day. Mr. Dearhouse advised us of the history of oppression faced by Indigenous people in Canada, more specifically of the Kanyen’keha:ka people in Quebec.

On Friday, September 22nd, 2023 the Spunt & Carin team fundraised in preparation for the upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As part of our “Spunt & Carin Gives Back” program our team wore jeans to the officeas quid pro quo for their donation.

At Spunt and Carin, we hold a deep commitment to giving back to our community. Every other Friday, one of our dedicated team members selects a charity close to their heart, and we rally together to make a difference.
A Day at Friendship Circle Montreal
On August 23rd, 2023, the Spunt & Carin team volunteered at Friendship Circle Montreal to join children and young adults with special needs in a day filled with fun. Me Sheri Spunt and her law students, Rome, Liana and Stephanos, were welcomed as volunteers and were each paired up with a “buddy” for the day.

Lupus is a challenging and often misunderstood autoimmune disease that affects millions, including families like our staff member. Raising awareness, advancing research, and supporting those with lupus are vital.


On Friday, August 9th, 2024, Spunt & Carin’s team donated to Lung Cancer Canada, which is a charity chosen by our Paralegal Student Liana Insogna.

On Friday, May 17, 2024, the Spunt and Carin team donated to the Préma Quebec foundation, a charity chosen by our fantastic bar student, Rome.

On Friday, May 3rd, the team at Spunt Carin sported their denim for a donation to the Alex and Grace Izinyon Foundation (AGIF) as part of our Spunt & Carin Gives Back campaign. This charity was chosen by Ayompe, one of our all-star paralegals on our team.

On Friday, April 19, 2024 we supported the Montreal-based organization Dans La Rue by collecting donations for our team’s jean day.

Friendship Circle provides Montreal families with a supportive community that gives the opportunity for special needs children to form real friendships within a non-judgmental environment. Friendship Circle provides many programs that are designed to nurture childrens social, physical, and cognitive skills. We work individually with each family to understand their specific needs and concerns related to each child’s disability.

Founded in 1950 in Montreal, the JEM Workshop Inc. operates as an adapted workplace with industrialized vocational goals, and is recognized by Emploi-Quebec. The JEM Workshop’s highly individualized services assist employees to function as closely as possible to their potential, thereby helping them progress toward normalized living and a productive vocational status.

HPC is a co-op run day camp in existence for more than fifty years. The camp was started by parents who wanted a place for their children to enjoy their summer vacations. HPC is still overseen by a volunteer board of executives made up of parents who send their children to the camp.
