Spunt Carin Gives Back: Sheri Supports Friendship Circle’s Annual Walk for Friendship

At Spunt Carin, giving back to the community is a cornerstone of our values, and recently, our founding partner Sheri Spunt took a leading role in raising awareness for a cause that is very close to her heart: Friendship Circle. Sheri hosted a presentation to help promote the upcoming Annual Walk for Friendship, a fundraiser aimed at supporting the incredible work done by this organization. For Sheri, the Friendship Circle holds special significance as a place that has greatly enriched the life of her sister Marni, offering her a safe and welcoming environment where she can truly be herself.

The Friendship Circle is a unique nonprofit that provides programs for neurodiverse children, offering them opportunities to explore a wide range of activities, including cooking, singing, arts and crafts, and even yoga. These activities not only help children develop new skills but also foster meaningful friendships in an environment of acceptance and inclusion. Sheri shared that, for her sister Marni, the Friendship Circle has been a place to connect with others and create lasting bonds, making it a sanctuary after a long day of work. Sheri’s ongoing support of the Friendship Circle stems from the deep impact it has had on her sister’s life and the positive influence it has on the lives of so many others.

During her presentation, Sheri showed two powerful videos that beautifully captured the essence of the Friendship Circle experience. The videos highlighted the joy, warmth, and connection that children and their families experience through the programs, giving the audience a glimpse into the heart of the organization. Sheri emphasized that the walk is not just a fundraiser, but a celebration of the friendships and bonds that are formed through the activities at Friendship Circle.

Sheri’s passion for this cause is evident in everything she does to support it, from her participation in the walk to her efforts to spread the word and inspire others to get involved. Through this event and her continued advocacy, Sheri hopes to raise the necessary funds to ensure that the Friendship Circle can continue to offer its life-changing programs and create more opportunities for neurodiverse children to learn, grow, and thrive. At Spunt Carin, we are proud to support Sheri’s efforts and look forward to the impact this year’s walk will have on the community.
